(me on the phone) Hey Hayden (my son), what you do at school today? (Hayden) We ate dinner. (me) Nice, what you eat? (Hayden) We had mac-n-cheese, mash potatoes, green beans and a chicken. (Me) You mean...a turkey??? (Hayden) No mommy....a chicken! It go gobble, gobble.
It's turkey time! Although I didn't get to read some these good stories to the kids other day, they definitely catch the essence of the turkey day spirit.
