Cat & Mouse

This was Margie's brilliant last minute theme for storytime last Thursday. I'm going to use it for my Monday night storytime group. These are some of the titles she used for her little bunch. I added some other titles because they are my favorites.
  • Whose Mouse Are You? by Robert Kraus
  • Mouse Shapes by Ellen Stoll Walsh
  • Shrinking Mouse by Pat Hutchins
  • George and the Dragon by Chris Wormell
  • Splat the Cat by Rob Scotton
  • Kitten's First Full Moon
  • Bad Kitty by Nick Bruel
  • A House for Mouse by Pat Horaeck
  • Stella's Dancing Days by Sandy Asher
  • Hip Cat by Jonathan London ( Very wordy but good for my older readers)

I think that is it for now. Next week...Food & Feasts!

Bedtime Stories

  • The Napping House by Audrey Wood
  • Dinosaur vs. Bedtime by Bod Shea
  • Shhhh! Everybody's Sleeping by Julie Markes
  • How do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight? by Jane Yolen
  • Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak
  • Close Your Eyes by Kate Banks
  • Llama Llama Red Pajamas by Ana Dwedney
  • Mouse Told His Mother by Bethany Roberts
  • Mother, Mother I Want Another byMaria Poluskin Robbins

Oh that reminds me I took my son to the movies last weekend to see, Monsters vs. Aliens. It was awesome! ONlyt I can't stand the 3D movies because wearing those eyeglasses gets on my nerves after an hour. Anyway....I saw the trailers for two cool children's classic- Where the Wild Things Are and Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. I'm definitely taking Hayden to see both. I can't wait for Up and the Night in the Museum: Battle for Smithsonian to come out in the next couple of weeks. Gosh I miss watching adult movies.
