Black History Month

I didn't get a chance to read to the group this past Monday. But these are the books that I had stashed away in the office I had planned on reading for Black History Month.
  • Our Children Can Soar: A Celebration of Rosa, Barack, and the Pioneers of Change by Michelle Cook
  • Shades of Black by Sandra L. Pinkney
  • My People by Langston Hughes
  • When Will Sarah Come Home by Nancy Crews
  • Honey Baby Sugar Child by Alice Faye Duncan
  • A Chair for My Mother by Vera B. Williams
  • Feast for 10 by Cathryn Falwell
  • Full, Full, Full of Love by Dorothy Corey
  • Please, Baby, Please & Please, Puppy, Please by Spike Lee
  • Clean Your Room, Harvey Moon! by Pat Cumminings (5 to 6)
  • Jonathan and His Mommy by Irene Smalls-Hector
  • Peeny Butter Fudge by Toni Morrison & Slade Morrison

I am a librarian doing a storytime for Black History Month. I have plenty of books to read but am also looking for something more interactive or physical to do, as well. Any suggestions? It's a large group of 3 and 4 year olds. Thanks!
