Happy St. Patrick's Day

Let me just say finding short and simple books to read for St. Patrick's Day is hard to find in our library system. They are too wordy. Plus finding good books with leprechauns, rainbows and pot of gold is limited too. So the suggestion was to do books with "green" as the title, object, animals, subject, etc. I found some good ones and not so good ones that my kids did not really care to hear.

Here are the titles in green, of course.

The Wide-mouthed frog by Keith Faulkner
Snip Snip: What's that? by Mara Bergman
Go Away Big Green Monster by Ed Emberly
The Lady with the Alligator Purse by Nadine Bernard Westcott
Green as a Bean by Karla Kuskin (boring)
Where Is the Green Sheep by Mem Fox and Judy Horacek
Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss
Green says go y Ed Emberly
The Greentail Mouse by Leo Lionni
Jack and the Beanstalk by Steven Kellogg
